Nostalgia came back for the weekend with Zombieland: Double Tap. It’s like ten years never even passed (except for maybe Abigail Breslin) on this quest to survive hoards of zombies.

American Horror Story: 1984 Rundown
Well, five episodes in, and I am unable to see where American Horror Story: 1984 can go now. Seriously, this last episode basically has an end for all our main characters. That doesn’t mean I haven’t enjoyed it! In fact, its campiness and gore is everything I like about the horror genre. So with that, here’s the lowdown on what’s happened at Camp Redwood.

As I said last week, SPOLIERS AHEAD, so don’t keep reading if it’s going to ruin it for you. Instead I’ll start you off with this fun fact that I just discovered. While the titles of all of season 4’s episodes are not in the usual tech-garb with dots and dashes, they are in representative of error codes, hence, “Payment Required.” Nifty!

Once again, I’m trying to make up for the abysmal job I did last month, so I high-tailed it to the theater twice this weekend! First up was the long awaited (for me) Ad Astra. I know there was a lot of hype around this movie, but it being about space, I was a little skeptical.

2019 Final Concert Review: Ghost
I really hope I’m joking about this, but sadly I may not be. In which case, you read that right. This is my last schedule concert of the year; therefore, it is the last concert review of 2019. But it was a doozy and a highly entertaining one at that! A solid line-up of Texas-based rockers, Nothing More, opening for, as my co-worker described them, the modern 80s rock band, Ghost!

A few weeks back, I finished one of the best books I’ve ever read: The Song of Achilles written by Madeline Miller. This book tells the tale of Achilles but is told through the eyes of Patroclus and with a slightly more romantic edge than what was detailed in Homer’s Iliad.

Now that I am three episodes deep into the recently full-season ordered, Prodigal Son, I figured now was the time to share my thoughts on the freshman show.

Well folks, if you haven’t watched last night’s final season premiere of Mr. Robot, then be prepared for SPOILERS! That’s all the warning I’ll give you.

I told you all there was more to come! In order to make up for my abysmal viewings in September, I felt I needed to step up my game this first weekend to make it count. So with that, I started off with and oldie, but a goodie, Disturbia.
