Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival

You read that right folks, over the weekend I attended and music and tattoo festival. Many tattoos were had, just not by me. But there was plenty of live music to make me feel like life is worth living again. Thankfully with some COVID mandates and me choosing to wear a mask all weekend, I felt like it was a relatively safe and very fun event! It was my first time attending, and thanks to some sheer luck, I ended up winning some VIP passes, so I got the whole dang experience! Let’s dive into what all went down!

Book Review: Will Grayson Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

Well, after coming off of the excellence that was Turtles All the Way Down, I’ve got to say that the collaborative effort on Will Grayson, Will Grayson was a bit of a letdown. Written in alternating chapters by authors John Green and David Levithan, they both write about the lives of two very different Will Graysons. At some point, their worlds converge and comingle a little bit and the results are interesting.

The Chats High Risk Behavior Album Review

Back several years ago, flipping through Sirius XM stations in my car, I stopped on Faction Punk to catch “Smoko” by Australian punk band, The Chats. Now, at first I thought it was a little rough, but I love an Aussie accent, and it ended up being catchy as hell! I never really looked much further into the band, but I played that song on the regular. Now, at least three years later, I’m finally giving their 2020 full-length debut, High Risk Behaviour, a listen!
