Fan Art Friday: Hannibal

March 18, 2022admin

I know you’re probably sick of my Hannibal obsession, but I’m not, so you get more fan art! Only this time it comes in an edible format. That’s right, I’m taking part in the second Fannibal Fest Cupcake contest, which has a focus on favorite quotes this year. Enjoy!

Diabolical Season 1 Review

March 16, 2022March 16, 2022admin

I write season one because I sincerely hope that Diabolical, a spin-off series from The Boys gets more seasons. It’s so cool! There were so many different writers, animation styles, directors, and voice actors taking part. I’d like to think it’s because they all really like The Boys and wanted to get involved somehow. What a neat way to do it!

Book Review: The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda

March 15, 2022March 15, 2022admin

I picked this book out for myself a while back then wised up and had my mom gift it to me for Christmas. Sure, it took away the surprise a little bit, but at least it was something that caught my eye. And, as it turns out, I really liked it, too!

Weekend Movie Review

March 14, 2022March 15, 2022admin

I definitely didn’t get in as many movies this weekend as I would have liked to, but I can promise this was a unique trio.

Concert Review: Underoath

March 13, 2022March 13, 2022admin

It’s been a hot minute, but I knew that when Underoath put tickets on sale for a tour I was getting a ticket. Pleasantly, the band’s stop in my city came in plenty of time for me to love their latest album, Voyeurist. This show though, was filled with songs from all over their career which made it a really fun show to be at.

Look, I’m not the world’s biggest Prince fan, but when a friend wants a portrait drawn of a celebrity, you do it.

Alt-j, The Dream – Album Review

March 10, 2022March 10, 2022admin

Alt-j’s newest release, The Dream, kind of snuck up on me! Sure, I heard at least two singles on Alt Nation, but I was under the impression that these were one-off releases. Thus, I was pleasantly surprised when I learned of the bands fourth full-length effort getting released in February!

The Afterparty Season 1 Review

March 9, 2022March 9, 2022admin

I promise I won’t spoil Apple +’s murder mystery comedy series for you. In fact, I could actually discuss seven of the eight episodes in the first season of The Afterparty, and you’d likely still have no clue who the killer was (that’s how it went down for me anyway).
