After watching the Netflix miniseries, His & Hers, and being pleasantly surprised by all of the twists at the end, I was curious to check out the works by Alice Feeney, whose novel of the same name was adapted to the series. Sadly, that novel was not immediately available, so I snagged the only one that was, her 2018 debut novel, Sometimes I Lie.

I have determined that Youtube is my kryptonite. As much as I try to ignore the videos presented to me by the algorithm, my curiosity eventually caves to its pressures. For instance, Youtube has been trying for months to get me to watch funny videos of &TEAM, and as someone who is still trying to take their time with new K-Pop acts, I refused to let a bunch of new, hot, and silly guys take my attention away when I wasn’t ready. But I have finally relented, and I am so, so glad that I did.
