Well, I would like to tell you that I watched more than two movies this weekend. I had ambitions to watch more than two. In fact, I was honestly aiming for six. I’ll wait for your laughs to die down. My old lady body decided to fall asleep on the couch twice when I intended on starting a movie. Never even made it to the opening credits. So anyway, I did make it to the theater to see two new ones.

And because we went to see AFI in Cleveland on Tuesday instead, that means I missed out on White Reaper in Columbus. Why is everyone touring at the same time?!

Max Marshall’s non-fiction debut, Among the Bros: A Fraternity Crime Story, sets out to uncover the truth about Xanax dealers at the College of Charleston, but what he finds instead is so wild I thought this story was the basis of a movie I watched within the last year called, The Line. Yes, there are probably many truths within that movie, but it is a work of fiction at its core, whereas the mess that Marshall discovers is all real.
