Hulu Movie Review

Yes, voting for the Independent Spirit Awards starts this weekend, and no, I still haven’t watched Blue Bayou or Drive My Car. I just haven’t managed to be in the right mindset for a serious drama and a three hour saga (regardless of how well it’s been reviewed). Lately, I’ve been trying to go for quantity, not necessarily quality, but I do plan to squeeze the two in before this weekend rolls around. Instead, I watched a bunch of stuff on Hulu!

Bad Suns – Apocalypse Whenever Album Review

It’s been a hot minute since Bad Suns released an album! In all honesty, Mystic Truth was kind of a disappointment for me, so I was really nervous about how the band’s new music would sound. But, if there few singles were anything to go by, then I was in good hands. And now I can say with certainty that Apocalypse Whenever is a solid return to form for Bad Suns – yay!

Weekend Movie Review

Now that Sundance is done and over with, I’ve gotten back to my normal flow of films in a given weekend. I will say, I did have trouble landing on stuff I wanted to watch; felt a little aimless. New Network Comedies Worth Your Time

I know you are all used to me reviewing shows that I’ve streamed or some questionable network dramas, but there are plenty of comedies in my life, too! I just don’t typically write about them. Fan Art Friday: Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere

It’s honestly a shock to me that I haven’t drawn Heroes‘ related actors more often. I sincerely doubt there will ever be another show to top it, or tie it (besides Hannibal, of course) in my lifetime. Yes, there’s plenty of amazing television out there right now and series I’ve never seen, but Heroes apparently aired during the most perfect time of my life. Whenever I see an actor from the show, no matter how small the part, I always point to the screen and exclaim to whoever is sitting closest to me “they were in Heroes!” before enjoying it even more than before. Now, something magical should be happening in April, and that thing is getting the opportunity to meet Hayden Panettiere at a local comic con convention. When I tell you that my soul almost left my body when I found that out, I mean it. I’m sure tears of excitement came to my eyes, as well. Now, just a couple more months before I have to control myself in her presence – I can do it! In the meantime, enjoy my latest drawing that I will surely have her sign (among other things).
