While I have been busy obsessing over this supergroup’s 2008 release, I’d be a fool to never check out The Last Shadow Puppets 2016 effort, Everything You’ve Come to Expect. And before you question me or yourself, yes, you are reading those album release years correctly. Approximately eight years after the first time they came together, they decided to go and make musical bliss again. And I’m here for it!

Book Review: Survive the Night by Riley Sager

Just when I thought his books couldn’t get any better, Riley Sager goes ahead and publishes this wonder, Survive the Night! Of his five novels, this one cemented itself as my favorite within the first chapter! It’s a thriller, takes place in the year I was born, the lead character is headed back to her hometown which is dangerously close to where I’m from, and she’s obsessed with movies!

Summer of Dramatic Television

Just because it’s summertime doesn’t mean there’s nothing on TV! It probably also helps that the pandemic severely delayed some shows. For instance, I get new Animal Kingdom and Roswell, New Mexico because of it! Not that I’m all that happy that things got delayed, but I’m glad everyone stayed safe, employed, and managed to produce some good television at the end of it all. Let’s get into it then, shall we?

Joe Bell Movie Review

Sadly, I’ve only got one movie to report back to you all on from this weekend. As you saw, I was busy doing other things (a festival!) and then I just felt like spending time with a good show. After what seemed like a lifetime, I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my local theaters with Joe Bell on their list of films for the weekend, so I jumped at the opportunity to go see it.
