New Show Review: Dead to Me

Okay, so technically Dead to Me isn’t a new show, but when I started it many months ago it was! Even though this show only consisted of ten half hours segments, I got half way through when I decided I needed to watch all of Stranger Things and Animal Kingdom, along with shoving in some MTV reality trash. And so here we are, finally finished with this dark comedy, and quite frankly it was a delight! Not the best show I’ve ever seen, but some quality acting and A+ delivery.

Movie Rental Review: A Vigilante, Lying and Stealing

Not to much came to the theaters this weekend, so I decided to take a look at my list of movies that have been out for a little while that I’ve been meaning to see. Since my local video store got shut down, and I’m too stubborn to stream most things, I went to a nearby Red Box to see what they had – so many good options is what! I settled on two short, but well reviewed movies: A Vigilante and Lying and Stealing.

Book Review: The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

I’m sure I said this a few posts back, but I feel like I’ve been reading like a fiend these past couple months, and it continues with The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware! I was a huge fan of her first novel, In a Dark, Dark Wood, so I’m always excited to see what she’s got next. Earlier this year I read her latest installment, The Death of Mrs. Westaway, and that sucker stuck with me. Needless to say, I was very surprised when a new novel dropped just a few months after finishing that up – but it was a happy surprise!
