I think after the great success of the When We Were Young Festival last year, I was all in for any emo concert swinging through even remotely close to my hometown. Cut to summertime and I had my reservations about seeing Taking Back Sunday for the first time in years.

The Gentlemen Season 1 Review
I write “season 1 review,” because I sincerely hope we get more seasons of The Gentlemen. Do I think Netflix was the best place for this series? No. I think it could have guaranteed itself a better future on Prime, but I’m just hoping the algorithms and whatever fake viewing data they gather is enough for more.

With all of these bands that I love releasing albums practically back to back recently, the fact that Wallows dropped their third full length album, Model, last week with basically no promotion came as quite a surprise to me. A pleasant one, but still. Even though I follow them on social media, I must not be in the know enough for eavesdropping advertising or just straight up fan posts to fall through the cracks and into my feeds.

Though he had an expected poor performance at Roland Garros this year, Rafael Nadal has just announced his participation in the Olympics! He’ll be shooting his shot at both singles and doubles with Roland Garros’ most recent winner, Carlos Alcaraz! To be honest, I don’t think I ever knew that Life & Beth was getting a second season, let alone that it was going to drop when it did. Once I decided to keep going with this Ty Grady and Zane Garrett series, I finally decided to look up how many books actually make this up. It’s a whopping nine novels! That’s so great! Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux have somehow managed to work so seamlessly together to create entertaining and flowing stories that I can’t wait to keep reading.

In my limited world of K-pop, I might have fallen for ATEEZ last, but I definitely fell for them the hardest. A lot of that might have to do with how accessible they still seem to fans despite their rising fame, but they also have a ton of great songs!

Though June is gearing up to have a ton of awesome theatrical releases, none of those happened to be this weekend. Instead, I got to check out some new hits and some old favorites!

I know it’s only been a short time since I posted these drawings, but I can’t draw them fast enough! With the release of their latest mini album last week, Golden Hour, ATEEZ have been almost everywhere I look. And I thank all the other Atiny out there for being more obsessed than me and keeping me in the loop. I promise I’ll have something new next week, but I cannot promise it won’t be K-pop related. So sue me!

I felt like the third season of Hacks was sprung upon us without much preamble, but this is a gem I was for sure not going to miss!
