Concert Throwback: Bad Suns

I suppose this would be multiple concert throwbacks, because I’ve had the good fortune of being able to see Bad Suns in concert seven times! That puts them near the top of my most-frequent attendance list. It all started back in 2014 when I heard their first radio single, “Cardio Arrest,” play in my car. The rest is history!

I saw them not long after that in one of the smallest venues I’ve ever been to, and the crowd was equally as tiny (also fought a snow storm to get home, just saying). Compare that first time with the last time I saw them, visiting a friend in Texas where the venue was probably the biggest I’d seen them headline at and the place was packed! Makes me proud, but the hipster in me is also a little mad about it, too.

Another thing I love about this band is I had the opportunity to meet them on at least four of those seven occasions. All incredibly nice guys who seem to love a good chat with a fan. And I’ve gifted them some artwork several times (even featured on their website at one point)! Anyways, if you can’t tell, I’m a big Bad Suns fan.
