Singles of the Week

I’ve decided that since I love music, I’d let you all know what I’ve been jamming to during the week!

“3 Nights” by Dominic Fike – I give all the credit to Sirius XM station, Altnation. This song has a very catchy beat to it and a chorus that I’ve been singing in the shower since I first heard it. It’s reminiscent of some Bad Suns, so give it a listen if you like that band!

“Hurt” by Oliver Tree – I have never heard of this guy, but the first time I heard this song I thought “Yes, I want to hear that again, now.” After looking him up, he wears some bright 80s-themed gear and has a very questionable bowl-cut, but I dig the song!

“I Will Follow You Into the Dark” by Halsey and Yungblud – Their cover of this Death Cab for Cutie hit is mesmerizing and very well done as a live version for Australian radio Triple J.

“Makeba” by Jain – I don’t normally listen to commercials, but I accidentally caught a Levi’s one recently, and this song by French artist Jain was bumping and I fell in love. If you feel like dancing go check this out!

THROWBACK! “Sour Girl” by Stone Temple Pilots – In the long career of STP, I feel like this song sort of flew under the radar which is a shame because it is wonderful! My dad introduced this to me a long time ago when I was younger and I’ve always loved it. Plus, Sarah Michelle Gellar was in the video during the peak of her Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame – A+ casting!
