I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally read the source material that the Frameline Festival film, Lie With Me was based on. In fact, it had been on my ‘to be read’ list for quite some time prior to me even learning about the film!

Weekend Movie Review
The selection this weekend was truly random, but I hope what little information I provide can lead to some interesting choices for you all in the future!

Oh to be a teen and to be in love – such angst! While there are plenty of moments that made my face hurt with how much I was smiling in this second season of Heartstopper, there was plenty of drama to go along.

There is STILL next to nothing new worth watching in theaters at the moment, so I made my way through new fare at home.

Alright, I know probably nothing of that name makes a lot of sense, and it didn’t make any sense to me either when the Youtube algorithm presented some fan made clip to me. You know, I’m surprised it took me this long to watch a new werewolf themed show by the same man who brought me Teen Wolf, but here we are. Wolf Pack left me hesitant after the first episode, but halfway through its eight episode run, I was hooked. Jeff Davis has got the touch.

I first read Madeline Miller’s debut novel, The Song of Achilles, back in late 2019. I was immediately taken with it, but like most things I don’t usually revisit them so soon. A little while ago I found my gaze landing on my copy of the book more and more, but my trip to Greece last month finally convinced me I needed to read this epic romance again!
