When I really thought about it, I knew I was going to start the next season on TharnType without much of a break in between. Turns out that was two days. What I wasn’t anticipating was finishing the other thirteen episodes in four days. That’s not what I do! I am not a binge-watcher!

Weekend Movie Review
Though I got in an average amount of films this weekend, I sure wish I would have made time for more. Oh, well. There’s always next week. For now, take a look at some new stuff!

It was a real hodge-podge of movies this weekend, but all were enjoyable for entirely different reasons.

I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally read the source material that the Frameline Festival film, Lie With Me was based on. In fact, it had been on my ‘to be read’ list for quite some time prior to me even learning about the film!

Freaking AMPTP! I feel like there has been absolutely no hype for the second season of the insanely creative mystery-comedy, The Afterparty, and that’s because none of the major studios can decide to pay people a living wage! Very cool! Anyway, loved the jacket in this.

It’s been a hot, hot minute since I’ve watched a movie in the theater during the week, and it’s been even longer since I watched two back-to-back! Nothing like getting two foreign, independent films in on a work night.
