Fan Art Friday: Wichapas “Bible” Sumettikul

It started with Jeff Satur, and now I am just moving down the line of KinnPorsche‘s visually stunning cast. Bible is here and he can stay. What I found most interesting in my spiral with this cast was learning that though Bible was born and raised and still lives in Thailand, he went to an international school and considers himself more fluent in English. Very cool! Anyway, loved the jacket in this.

Book Review: A Nearly Normal Family by M.T. Edvardsson

I’ve finally decided to start working through all the books I’ve bought myself over the years that have been sitting on me shelf untouched. This novel by M.T. Edvardsson, like most of my other purchases, have been bargain bin finds, with blurbs intriguing enough for me to purchase. A Nearly Normal Family fit that mold, with its unsettling mystery at the center.

Beef Season 1 Review

I felt like it took me way too long to check out Beef, Netflix’s newest critically acclaimed darling that actually earned all the “most streamed” buzz that other awful shows get on that platform. Then I was a tool and watched half of it like a month ago before finally committing myself to finishing it. I have no clue why I skirted it for so long. I had liked what I’d seen so far! TV is confusing sometimes, and so are my preferences at any given time.

Frameline 47 – Film Festival

The 47th annual Frameline Film Festival was back this year during the midst of pride month, because that only makes sense for a queer-centered film festival. As with most of these film festivals that I’m attending virtually, the selection isn’t quite as robust as attending in person, but there were still some gems to be found.
