Even though I loved Ellie Marney’s books featuring teenage FBI recruits, I was for whatever reason hesitant to check out her most recent and totally unrelated effort, The Kill Code. I’m sure a lot of that has to do with the fact that it takes place during the second World War.

Book Review: Some Shall Break by Ellie Marney
I squeaked through one more book before I high-tailed it to my local library to get the sequel to Ellie Marney’s None Shall Sleep, Some Shall Break. I think this is also the quickest I read through anything this year. Usually, I take my sweet time, reading about fifty pages a day, but I just couldn’t get through this fast enough!

Admittedly, I grabbed Ellie Marney’s book, None Shall Sleep, in the bargain section of the nearest bookstore solely based on the pop art that graced the cover. But can you blame me? The sleeve itself was a baby blue, but the main action was a bloody knife reflecting some sinister eyes. Count me in!
