Paramore – This is Why, Album Review

Truth be told, in the past I had never been a die-hard Paramore fan and never really appreciated any album they released in full. Still, the big handful of songs I do like, I like a lot. Similarly, the bands’ latest release, This is Why, follows in their previous discography’s footsteps. However, this is the first time I’ve been eager to give the whole thing my attention from the start.

I feel like it’s been too long since I reviewed new music, but I haven’t really been in the mood to listen to new albums (new to me anyways) all the way through at the moment. Lucky for me, some great bands have released new songs and it’s definitely got me excited for their upcoming albums (and hopefully, tours!).

Armor for Sleep – Rain Museum, Album Review

Even though Ben Jorgensen of Armor for Sleep told me last November during their 15 year anniversary show that new music was on the horizon, I really didn’t believe it would be this soon! But sure enough, a few weeks ago, the band released their fourth album, Rain Museum, out into the world.
