One of my closest friends recently posted a picture of a statue that I had happened to have drawn almost 15 years ago! At the time I had no clue the real statue lived so close to home! In all honesty, I picked this depressing statue of The Angel of Death because it went perfectly with a lyric from one of my all time favorite bands. In Sullivan’s song, “The Charity of Saint Elizabeth,” it’s all about going too soon, but not yet being ready to die. So here’s a little throwback drawing, and you should all definitely go listen to that song.

It’s time to give some love to one of my favorite bands of all time: Sullivan. I would consider them fairly unknown and that is a damn shame because all three records they’ve released over an hiatus and 15 years is absolutely fantastic! Here’s some throwback mixed media artwork I did back in high school for these guys.
