In a sick twist, Riot Fest and Life is Beautiful have ruined my life by making me choose between seeing My Chemical Romance and Arctic Monkeys on the same day in September. I was so desperate I threw out an Instagram poll! But, the people have spoken, and I ultimately agree with them, that I need to go back to Riot Fest to catch My Chemical Romance. Now, a big reason I agree with this is because I know for a fact a new Arctic Monkeys album is coming, and with that, likely a North American tour. So, I could catch them in the (hopefully) near future. And while My Chemical Romance have apparently been regrouped since 2017, I have heard hind nor hare that new music is coming from them. Why risk never seeing them if I don’t have to? Anyway, all of that for you to enjoy an old ass drawing I did of the band.

Fan Art Friday: Charlize Theron
No real specific reason for drawing Charlize Theron, but you should check out most of hee work. She’s a fabulous actress! My top recommendation is Atomic Blonde. Enjoy!

Well, I drew only one day this past week, so you’re getting a repeat. Here’s an old, mini Hannibal drawing of Mads Mikkelsen since people can see him in the newest Fantastic Beasts installment. Enjoy!

Fan Art Friday: Christina Ricci/Yellowjackets
I know I shared this drawing not too long ago, but since I will get the chance to meet Christina Ricci next weekend and I just finished the first season of her amazing series, Yellowjackets, I decided it’s a perfectly fine time to bring it back. Enjoy!

Ryan Gosling hasn’t been in anything recently, but I find it odd I’ve never drawn him before and he’s recently been photographed with his “Ken” hair for the Barbie movie, so that’s a good enough reason for me! In the meantime, go watch Lars and the Real Girl, easily one of his best.

Look, I’m not the world’s biggest Prince fan, but when a friend wants a portrait drawn of a celebrity, you do it.

Well technically, it’s Robert Pattinson. But he’s playing the Bat in The Batman, so it seemed fitting to revisit this drawing. Enjoy!

As silly as it may sound, I loved Casper growing up, and I’m immensely looking forward to watching Yellowjackets, both of which Christina Ricci stars. Yes, a lot of time has passed between these two projects and I’ve seen her in plenty of other things in between, but these are the projects I think of when I think of her. Also, I get the chance to meet her at a convention this spring! Here’s hoping to get this thing signed!

I know I drew Jon Bernthal not all that long ago, but I get to meet this man in April and I wanted an even better drawing to present to autograph! That, and he stared in my favorite movie of 2021: Small Engine Repair. This is a public service announcement, if you have Hulu, that movie is on there right now – so go watch it!
