Back in the day I was real hot and heavy with Liane Moriarty’s books. I’ve since fallen off, which is why I never read the book that this miniseries is based off of. Both the book and the series share the same name, Apples Never Fall, but I actually won’t be able to weigh in on how closely the series sticks to the source material.

Nine Perfect Strangers Miniseries Review
Well, well, well. Liane Moriarty made the right friend in Nicole Kidman. I say that because she’s chosen another one of Moriarty’s novels to adapt to the screen. And I don’t know how well your memory serves you, but it worked out really well with Big Little Lies. I’m a little surprised that Moriarty’s most recent novel, Nine Perfect Strangers got selected to be adapted so quickly. As an author I’d want the material to sit with readers a little longer. In any case, I was looking forward to this mystery/drama.

After reading a few of her novels, I’ve finally brought myself back around to Liane Moriarty! I got off of a short wait list to read her latest novel, Nine Perfect Strangers. And boy was it exciting! I finished it in three days, which is incredibly fast for me.
