Well, I think this will be the last drawing of the year, and who better than the lovely and extremely talented Daisy Edgar Jones? If you’ve never checked out any of her work, I can personally vouch for Normal People and Fresh. Both high quality work and she’s only going to get bigger!

Normal People TV Series Review
Well people, it didn’t take me long to knock out the television adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel Normal People, and for that I am proud! This will be a somewhat short review because honestly, this might have been one of the most pure adaptations I have ever seen. Having twelve episodes to tell the story definitely had a lot to do with that. No small nuance within the book was overlooked and I think that is a true achievement. I imagine Rooney is very happy with how this adaptation played out.

Since Normal People had been published a few years ago, I had seen it reviewed extensively in the most praising and positive light. After finally giving it a read because of the overwhelming reception the Hulu series adaptation received, I have been swayed by it’s intensity. I am gearing up to watch the show very soon, and I can only imagine what it’s going to be like. With twelve episodes, though, I believe it will capture many nuances and details that were woven throughout Sally Rooney’s pages.
