Concert Review: Hawthorne Heights

Hawthorne Heights is an emo staple and I have seen them live so many times that I’ve simply lost track at this point. It’s got to be at least a dozen, and I know for a fact that I will be seeing them two more times this year. It does help that they are an Ohio band, but really these guys just get around a lot, what can I say.

I’ll admit that I haven’t been keeping my ears open for much new music recently, but to be fair, I think it’s also been slow going for the last several months. Bad Suns – Infinite Joy EP Review

I suppose it has been almost exactly two whole years since the release of Bad Suns’ last full length record, Apocalypse Whenever, but to me it’s felt like no time at all! One could also see the desire to make new music now that they are just a three-piece. I don’t believe there was any bad blood with Ray Libby’s departure, but I’m sure there was a desire to see what they could create in this new form.
