Despite the goofy ass name, The Director Who Buys Me Dinner happened to be a really cute and interesting KBL series.

The Day of the Jackal – Season 1 Review
With my sister’s one month subscription to Peacock nearly ending, I managed to squeeze in this British crime-thriller just before time ran out. And boy was The Day of the Jackal worth it!

Marry My Dead Body has been one of the most delightful movie finds for me this year, so imagine my pure joy in learning that a series based off those characters was in the works! The internet didn’t give me much to go off of, only the name of the series, GG Precinct, and that it was indeed headed to Netflix. Only after seeing Gingle Wang at TIFF did I decide to look again and it had already dropped a couple of weeks prior!

Could have done better, but I could have done worse this weekend. All solid films, though!

I didn’t think I’d be adding another K-Pop group so soon to my roster after Omega X, but my friend had me way too intrigued to check out OnlyOneOf.

Less than a week ago I spoke to Shin Yechan of Omega X! Would I have preferred it in person like it was supposed to be? Absolutely. But in the end that still didn’t take away my thrill at the chance to get to speak to Yechan. For being such a new fan I kind of felt a little like a fraud, but then you know what, no. I’m just as crazy about them now as I will be a few months from now. The only difference will be how much time I’ve spent looking them up online. I’ve already watched A Shoulder to Cry On a second time (and it’s just as good), and I can’t begin to tell you how many hours I’ve logged listening to their albums. The conversation was brief, but so, so great. And he was really impressed with this drawing! With how quickly it came together I am also lowkey impressed with how it turned out. Anyway, enjoy.

I’m a bit surprised by how quickly a second season came around for Based on a True Story, though news of new episodes seemed to hardly be advertised anywhere for it!

The second part of the final season of Cobra Kai was released at the most opportune moment for me. Personally. It dropped the night before I was set to sit on a plane for thirteen hours. After some snoozing, I strapped in and watched all five episodes back to back.

With my most recent K-Pop obsession, Omega X, I am doing my very best to find out everything I can about this lesser known group. Just like I was surprised to learn about the KBL series, A Should to Cry On, starring their leader and maknae, I was equally surprised to learn that their fourth eldest member, Hangyeom, was in the more recent KBL, Jazz for Two.

Worlds collide! Omega X recently posted a behind the scenes video about maknae Yechan’s involvement with this South Korean television drama. But before checking it out I was wondering to myself if it had anything to do with the Bryan Cranston series of the same name. Being just lazy enough, I never actually looked any of that up. Instead, I was surprised to see Your Honor available to watch on my flight from Seoul to Bangkok and back!
