I think you all knew this was coming since I recently reviewed Betty Gilpin’s essay collection, All the Women in My Brain: And Other Concerns. It also helps that I’ve really enjoyed watching her in film and some television. GLOW is still on my watch list, so for now my recommendation is The Hunt – enjoy!

Book Review: All the Women in My Brain: And Other Concerns by Betty Gilpin
While I have not seen Betty Gilpin in a lot of things over the years (sorry GLOW, I’m just not there yet), it’s her interviews about the projects that prompted me to seek out her collection of essays. Seriously, if you have not watched a single one of her interviews before, do it. She’s hilarious, and even though the collection of essays goes to some dark places, having heard her speak before really helped me get into her headspace and really hear her telling these stories.

In less than 72 hours, I’ve managed to squeeze five movies into my life without feeling like I’ve neglected any other area of my life. That is quite a feat! I also managed to accomplish this after cleaning up a bunch of glass off of my kitchen floor (courtesy of my cats)!
