While not as ambitious as last holiday weekend, I still got a fair share of films in! Some were deserving repeats (in my opinion) while the remaining went back in time a little bit. Also, I’m pretty sure I found a new movie to add to my all-time weird list! That’s seriously quite an honor, because it’ll probably get brought up in conversation at least a few times a year. Anyway, let’s go!

Weekly Drama Series
This week in the world of network dramas saw a penultimate episode, a season finale, and a series finale – very exciting stuff! And of course, this wouldn’t be a drama series review if these shows didn’t bring some drama. Which they did.

It’s getting down to the wire for my weekly dramas, so of course they were even more dramatic! In fact, to even add to the drama, Prodigal Son went ahead and got itself cancelled. They better have a dang good finale next week. Regardless, let’s see what went down this week.

After some fun turns, I have faith that Prodigal Son is going to be decently entertaining moving forward even if they aren’t going to drop the case of the week format. Big Sky is still leaving me feeling unsatisfied, but I recently got my hands on the book the show is based off of, The Highway, so at least I’ll have fun comparing the two.
