Book Review: Mister Magic by Kiersten White

I have to say, sometimes compelling cover art is all it takes. Well, that and the two other books I was looking for at my local library weren’t on the shelves. Thus, Kiersten White’s latest novel, Mister Magic, with it’s hot pink sleeve and rainbow static television was tempting enough to pick up an read the blurb. And then that blurb sounded creepy as hell, so I was all in!

Book Review: None Shall Sleep by Ellie Marney

Admittedly, I grabbed Ellie Marney’s book, None Shall Sleep, in the bargain section of the nearest bookstore solely based on the pop art that graced the cover. But can you blame me? The sleeve itself was a baby blue, but the main action was a bloody knife reflecting some sinister eyes. Count me in!

Book Review: For You and Only You by Caroline Kepnes

I…think I’m kind of over the whole You universe brought to us by Caroline Kepnes. It’s in that weird stage now where the show is a season ahead and not at all what the latest novel, For You and Only You, was about. Granted, I have no clue what Kepnes’ involvement with the show is and I realize that most adaptations don’t follow the source material closely at all, but still. It’s odd.
