While this is definitely much different than the horrid truths that were revealed in Peacock’s Dr. Death, Apple TV+’s The Shrink Next Door was almost as mind blowing. In this 8-part miniseries, we see how one emotionally vulnerable man was ruthlessly swindled by his psychiatrist.

Manic Movie Review
Truth be told, I didn’t watch any movies last week because I was busy being in the background of one! That’s all I can say for now, but as soon as I can share more I will. In order to make up for that oversight, I’ve stuffed as many movies as I possibly could into this last full week of October. Some spooky stuff, some not, but all pretty darn good!

Sadly, I’ve only got one movie to report back to you all on from this weekend. As you saw, I was busy doing other things (a festival!) and then I just felt like spending time with a good show. After what seemed like a lifetime, I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my local theaters with Joe Bell on their list of films for the weekend, so I jumped at the opportunity to go see it.
