Generally speaking, animated shows and movies are just not my jam anymore. That’s why, when a friend recommended Hazbin Hotel to me, I was wary to give it a chance. But when I saw that almost the entire voice cast was going to be present at Galaxycon, I decided to watch it.

Based on a True Story – Season 2 Review
I’m a bit surprised by how quickly a second season came around for Based on a True Story, though news of new episodes seemed to hardly be advertised anywhere for it!

With my most recent K-Pop obsession, Omega X, I am doing my very best to find out everything I can about this lesser known group. Just like I was surprised to learn about the KBL series, A Should to Cry On, starring their leader and maknae, I was equally surprised to learn that their fourth eldest member, Hangyeom, was in the more recent KBL, Jazz for Two.

Worlds collide! Omega X recently posted a behind the scenes video about maknae Yechan’s involvement with this South Korean television drama. I feel like the review of this series requires a little bit of backstory. Not even a month ago while I was in New York for Comic Con, the algorithms that be kept throwing me an add for a K-pop group I’d never heard of called Omega X playing at the House of Blues in Cleveland. After the fifth time seeing it, I reached out to my new K-pop friend and she exclaimed her love for them, so naturally I bought a ticket before even listening to a song. She also told me that the leader and maknae had done a BL series together, so I was hooked.

It feels like it’s been so long since I last watched Heartstopper, but really there’s been just over a year between the second and most recent seasons. It’s probably because there are so few episodes and the show is just so addictive.

Given how much I adored the first season of Interview with the Vampire, I’m surprised at myself for how long I put off watching the second season.
