Well, this might be a first. I was under the impression that the 2018 movie, Midnight Sun, was based off of a book given the fact that I’ve seen this book around since I saw the movie. Sometimes that happens where I don’t realize a film or show is based off of a book until after the fact. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be picking up a book that is based off of a film?! Also, please let me know if I’m wrong, but from what I can tell, the film version of this story is actually based off of a 2006 Japanese film called A Song to the Sun. Crazy!

Sandra Oh is one busy lady! Somewhere in the middle of a pandemic I imagine she had to get in the headspace for the final season of Killing Eve, but then went ahead and filmed this short but awesome comedy-drama, The Chair. Even more fascinating about this show is that it was created by actress Amanda Peet! I truthfully had no clue she wrote or anything like that outside of acting. Really cool find on Netflix if you ask me!

Back at it! Now that I’ve thoroughly listened to Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, it’s time for me to move onto the Arctic Monkeys’ sophomore effort, Favourite Worst Nightmare. Although it’s a sophomore effort, there was certainly no slump here! In fact, it’s sort of mind-boggling that the band was able to release something so strong in just a little over a year after their debut record.
