Fan Art Friday: The Last Shadow Puppets

Look, I held off drawing this as long as I could. Not because I thought it was going to be too difficult, but because I really only drew The Last Shadow Puppets like a month ago. I don’t want to come off crazy. Also, I do have other things I could draw, but this band has been on constant repeat since I started listening to them a few months ago. Who am I kidding, it’s a full-blown obsession! And I treat my obsessions with fan art. It’s the highest form of flattery I can offer. So with that, here is another drawing of Miles Kane and Alex Turner of The Last Shadow Puppets. I assure you, this will not be the last drawing you see of this band…not by a long shot.

Weekly TV Dramas

Another week closer to everyone’s fall favorites, means another episode of my weekly summer dramas coming and going. Look, we had a “Halloween” themed drawing assignment in high school and this cool ass picture is what I wanted to do. As soon as I started it I was nervous for how all the textures would turn out, but I was pretty pleased. Hope you enjoy!

Book Review: Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell

Now, based on the title of Rainbow Rowell’s latest book, Any Way the Wind Blows, one would think this is a song about Queen. In fact, this book is about magic, and young adults dealing with all sorts of crap, so that’s almost an equally as fun time for me. To read, of course.

Steel City Con – August 2021 Edition

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to a convention, and since the first one I ever attended was Steel City Con in December of 2019, it only makes sense that my first one back was Steel City Con again! As eager as I’ve been to get back to everything, it’s clear a lot of other people are, too. The convention center was packed and the mood was euphoric, and that made it a really fun day for me.
