Ever since seeing Stoker for the first time last year, I had determined that Matthew Goode is perhaps one of the best looking men on this planet. I am a fool! It’s been way too long for me to not have realized that the recently reunited Foxy Shazam had put out a new album in December! Burn is the first release from the band since their hiatus in 2015, and I really should have been more on top of this. The only thing I really saw anything about was a reunion show that got cancelled twice ( because, you know, pandemic) and the release of the single “Burn.” Well, better late than never I suppose! Burn was a delight to listen to all the way through, and now I really can’t wait for this pandemic to be over so I can see them live again!

Usually, the Film Independent Spirit Awards takes place the afternoon before the Oscars, but in this unprecedented time of a pandemic, they switched their usual plan of attack by airing in a prime time slot during the week (a Thursday to be exact). Hey, I don’t care when they air, I promise I’ll be there to watch it.
