It’s been a good couple years since the finale of Shadowhunters aired, and just about two years since I’ve last read anything about this wonderful cast of characters, so when I saw I’d been sleeping on the release of the second book in the Eldest Curses trilogy, The Lost Book of the White, I immediately went to my local library to rent it out. It was a quick read, given how much I love the series, and this adventure was just as fun as the first outing of the trilogy!

Movies in Review
I think it will be hard to beat the amount of movies that I did in January (thank you, Sundance), but that does not mean what I’m watching isn’t of quality and that’s all that really matters. While a good chunk of these are new, I did swing back to one of my favorites from 2020. I also managed to get the last best picture nominee in over the weekend! Let’s take a look, shall we?

Well, just like most other events in the world, this year’s first and only Shadowhunters convention got pushed until next year. In an effort to please the fans though, Jalmics, the organizer of the event, roped together an At Home convention for this past weekend! I will say, despite the event not taking place in person, this experience was pretty sweet! As an avid fan of the show, I was particularly pumped about it.

What does matter is that the Shadowhunters Conversation at Home is taking place this weekend and I am pumped! Shadowhunters – I am seriously going to miss this show. Already three episodes into the last season, I am starting to get anxiety. Anyways…this episode was a nice build-up for what I assume will be a pretty sweet episode next Monday. A lot of work is being done to figure out how to get a rune off Clary’s neck, and the vampire that Simon turned is causing trouble in all vampire and wolf circles.
