Weekend Movie Review
Through a very busy weekend I did manage to get two films in, on top of attending a showing at CIFF, so bear with this brief review.

It’s been a hot minute since I last saw IDKHOW live (think February 2020), so I was excited at the prospect to see the band again. Though now ultimately just a solo project, Dallon Weekes is every bit the talent needed to succeed, and he certainly does so!

It must have been back when I was looking for tickets to see Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott on Broadway that made me think about the 2018 film Piercing. I didn’t watch it upon its release, but I did enjoy however many years later. In m Christopher Abbott prime, this was an odd and graphic film that floated between several different genres.
