A Shoulder to Cry On – Series Review

I feel like the review of this series requires a little bit of backstory. Not even a month ago while I was in New York for Comic Con, the algorithms that be kept throwing me an add for a K-pop group I’d never heard of called Omega X playing at the House of Blues in Cleveland. After the fifth time seeing it, I reached out to my new K-pop friend and she exclaimed her love for them, so naturally I bought a ticket before even listening to a song. She also told me that the leader and maknae had done a BL series together, so I was hooked.

Phantogram – Memory of a Day, Album Review

It was such a bummer that Phantogram’s last album, Ceremony didn’t get its due since it was released just barely after the pandemic was declared back in 2020. I’ve been patiently waiting since then, and it seems like the band had been teasing a new album for years, but we were finally blessed with Memory of a Day and it SLAPS. Totally worth the wait.

Book Review: The Leftover Woman by Jean Kwon

While I don’t really feel like I’m in a reading slump, I did feel uninspired about what to read next. Yes, there are still plenty of unread novels sitting on the shelves at my house, but sometimes the local library is calling. Looking for inspiration, I sought out a must-read list from People. They usually have good recommendations in their magazine, so I was trusting of their online suggestions, as well.
