I do believe that all of the movies I watched this weekend I had no real idea of what any of them were about besides a brief tagline and their star power. But you know what, it worked in my favor! Sometimes that’s not always the case, but these were all fairly strong contenders – even compared to some weekends where I was sure they were all going to be hits.

If I do recall, it did take me some time to get in the groove of the writing style of the Case File Compendium series. The same is the case for this new series, Guardian, though it’s by a completely different author in Preist. Though to be fair, this author has a pretty deep bibliography. And I also didn’t realize how long this particular series has been around! It’s also been adapted into a show back in 2018! Crazy.
