I know a couple months ago I told you all about Death From Above 1979’s newest single, “One + One,” but evidently I didn’t think to look any further into new music from this group. I’m a fool! It’s been out for two month’s now! To make up for it, I ordered some merch along with the album. Now, let’s get down to reviewing Is 4 Lovers.

I’m burning through Silicon Valley, so I figured I’d give a light recap of the latest two seasons I watched! This show continues to deliver on laugh out load moments almost too frequent to count, so in my eyes, this comedy is gold.

Sadly, I was only able to get one film in this weekend. I mean, in exchange for less films I did get to see some friends for the first time in over a year and some change, so I’ll take a slow weekend for that. However, I don’t plan on that being the new norm! It wasn’t in the before times, so there’s no need for it to be now.
Read more9-1-1 Lone Star Season 2 Finale
What a strange 2020-2021 season it’s been for network television. Truthfully, this might have been the exact same time 911 Lone Star ended last year, but the pandemic has made time seem both impossibly fast and agonizingly slow. Regardless, I love where the show went this season and I’m glad to see that it got picked up for a third season next year! Anyway, let’s get into the action of last night’s finale episode.

It really doesn’t feel like that much time has passed since Twenty One Pilots’ last album, Trench, came out but then again, 2020 was a bit of a blur. Indeed, it has been three years since that release, so of course quarantining in a pandemic spawned the duo’s latest effort, Scaled and Icy. While a lot of the content on here is new territory for the band, there does seem to be a fair bit of throwback in it, too. Let’s dive in!
Read moreFan Art Spotlight: Twenty One Pilots
One would have to think Twenty One Pilots were the obvious choice for this week’s fan art Friday. But in case it’s not, I’ll let you know that the band has a new album, Scaled and Icy, out today! On top of that, they are also doing a live stream performance this evening! Check back in tomorrow for a full review of the new album (sadly, I won’t be around to watch the live stream). Enjoy!
Read moreBook Review: Paradise Valley by C.J. Box
I’d say I’m moving through The Highway book series by C.J. Box rather quickly! A large part of that is attributed to my morbid curiosity of seeing how well the show, Big Sky, is relating to its source material. Well, I can say that by the end of the third installment, Paradise Valley, they really aren’t following the storyline. Now, I will say based off the second novel that the show totally deviated from, I didn’t really think that this novel would be followed either because the blurb made it sound like a direct continuation of those events.

This week in the world of network dramas saw a penultimate episode, a season finale, and a series finale – very exciting stuff! And of course, this wouldn’t be a drama series review if these shows didn’t bring some drama. Which they did.
Read moreAverage Movie Weekend
This is perhaps the least amount of films I’ve watched in a given weekend since the pandemic started. I must admit that makes me a little sad. Sad because I love movies, but I suppose not as sad because I am starting to (safely) get back to normal a little bit. Either way, the limited choices in films I made this weekend were mediocre at best, but for the most part enjoyable to watch. Sometimes you can’t ask for more then that.
Read moreMTV Movie & TV Awards
As cool as it is that anyone can vote for the MTV Movie & TV Awards, it also becomes painfully obvious that the general public just doesn’t watch much beyond Marvel’s catalog and Netflix young adult romances. That makes me sad inside, but I guess there’s got to be something for the average viewer. With that being said, let’s jump into the somewhat predictable results of the show!
