This past weekend marked the end of the 2024-2025 awards season and it always feels bittersweet to me. I don’t know that I can definitively say that this year’s Oscars were my favorite, but it was certainly an enjoyable evening!

Best Films of 2024
I think as you’ve all come to know, there were a lot of movies in my life this year. 175 to be exact, though unlike other years, there were several repeat viewings this time around! I was also so lucky to take part in so many film festivals this year, both in person and virtually, and I hope the trend continues next year! I’m sure I’ve said this since the pandemic started, but the one thing I’m grateful for is that it made and kept a virtual component to the Sundance Film Festival. This gives me the opportunity to enjoy something I love so much from the comfort of my own home and significantly cheaper, too! I was happy to have an interest in many more films this year.
