Book Review: They Don’t Need to Understand by Andy Biersack

This book of stories written by Black Veil Brides front man Andy Biersack, and pal Ryan J. Downey, really had a lot to delve into for someone who really hasn’t spent all that long on this planet. While he claims the passages written were not meant to be a memoir but more like a recounting of his sheer determination of will, it still read like a memoir to me. Either way, this book is a deep dive into the life of Andy Biersack.

Fan Art Friday: Andy Biersak

I was staring at my walls this morning, realized I didn’t post anything for Fan Art Friday, and then my eyes zeroed in on this older drawing I did of Andy Biersack. Thanks to Warped Tour, I’ve had the opportunity to meet this fine man, and not only is he gorgeous, but he’s extremely talented and kind. From his lead man status in Black Veil Brides, to his solo career, he also finds time to act and host a sports-themed talk show! He hails from my home state, too, so I’m obviously partial in that regard. Anyways, this is an older drawing I did of Andy, but his eyes are captivating and I can’t help myself. Enjoy!

Fan Art Friday: Andy Black/Biersack, Black Veil Brides

Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides fame is truly a jack of all trades. A little over ten years ago, the band released their debut single, “Knives and Pens.” Now, aside from being in the band, he also has a solo side project, which just released his second full-length album titled The Ghost of Ohio. Along with that release, a companion graphic novel with the same name was also released (definitely go check that out!). The man also acts and has his own internet talk show, The Andy Show! And at 28 years old, I have no idea how he can do all of that! With all that being said, I’ve clearly dedicated some time to drawing this extremely talented and good-looking individual. Enjoy!
