This year, the annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place in Cleveland! I do believe this is the first time (at least in a very long time) that this has happened and who knows, maybe it will never happen again. All I knew was that with this particular class, I wanted to be in attendance.

Concert Review: Armor for Sleep
My middle school self continues to thrive this year! Just like Scary Kids Scaring Kids graced me with an anniversary tour last month, emo stalwarts, Armor for Sleep have followed suit. Now, the 15 year anniversary of their first major-label debut, What to Do When You Are Dead, was meant to happen last year but COVID had other plans. No worries! It worked out even better for me this year!

Early Friday morning I boarded a plane headed to Chicago for the first time in my life, in the middle of a pandemic (still), to attend Riot Fest! To say I was both nervous and excited is an understatement.

You read that right folks, over the weekend I attended and music and tattoo festival. Many tattoos were had, just not by me. I really believe this is the last of the live stream concerts, and I couldn’t be more excited by that! What a great way to end this strange fad with by seeing a band really get to live out there dream? That’s right, Motionless in White front man, Chris Motionless has always wanted to perform at a cool venue like a haunted house. He got pretty close by getting to stream a show at Pennsylvania’s haunted Pennhurst Asylum.

Since the month of Avatar is over and it’s clear there will still be no live shows anytime soon, I decided to scour the internet to see if any of my other favorite bands were streaming shows. I was in luck to find out that Silverstein we’re doing something a little bit similar to Avatar in that they will be putting on three different shows for the rest of the Saturdays in February as part of their Out of This World Concert Series. Yay me! One that stood out the most to me from this trio was the very first option, Greatest Hits. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been listening to Silverstein for a very long time, but this just seemed like the best way to hear all of my favorites at once.
