Silicon Valley – Season 1

After spending some quality time with dramatic shows and movies, I’ve decided there are still so many excellent comedies out there that I’ve never had time to dedicate to! In that case, I made the executive decision to start an HBO classic, Silicon Valley. A good friend of mine recommended this to me a while back, and she clearly knows me well, because I found this first season pretty darn hilarious.

I May Destroy You – Limited Series Review

I’m glad I finally got the time to watch this insanely buzzed about show, I May Destroy You. It’s sure to be snatching up a bunch of awards in the coming months, and I love a little indie show with a lot of love. Truth be told, this wasn’t my favorite, but that’s probably got more to do with the fact that it wasn’t like a typical show that I watch. I look forward to these types of events because, if it’s not obvious, I love all things famous! And what better way to hear from, gaze at from afar, or straight up meet in person than at a convention?!

Movie Mania!

I may not be able to see brand spanking new movies in the theater, but that doesn’t stop me from watching a myriad of older ones that have been on my radar for quite some time. It also helps that I have cable and a bunch of streaming services (priorities, people!). All of that combined with a few days I took off means I got to watch a bunch of movies!

TV Review: Big Little Lies, Season 2

No offense, but I hope this is the last season of Big Little Lies we get. It was supposed to be a limited series, so this second one seems sort of forced, and not much really happens throughout the seven episodes. I feel that they ended it in a way where it can be done forever, and based on the lack of awards it’s won this awards season, it could be actually be done.
