After binge-watching all fourteen seasons of the record breaking comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, I have been eagerly awaiting the latest season to air. And approximately four weeks ago, it premiered! Airing two at a time, to an even shorter eight episode season, a lot of their time was spent in Ireland! Weekend Movie Rewind
So many movies this weekend! Let’s take a look at what was worth it and what wasn’t.
Read moreOnly Murders in the Building
Okay, let me preface this review by saying there will be spoilers! I think I’m pretty late to the party for this original Hulu comedy, Only Murders in the Building, so I don’t know that I’ll be spoiling it for many people, but still, you’ve been warned.

Well, well, well. Liane Moriarty made the right friend in Nicole Kidman. I say that because she’s chosen another one of Moriarty’s novels to adapt to the screen. And I don’t know how well your memory serves you, but it worked out really well with Big Little Lies. Watching all ten episodes over the course of three days was certainly not the plan, but it was just so darn good I couldn’t help myself! There’s love, betrayal, and a serious cliffhanger, so let’s get into it!

While not as ambitious as last holiday weekend, I still got a fair share of films in! Some were deserving repeats (in my opinion) while the remaining went back in time a little bit. Also, I’m pretty sure I found a new movie to add to my all-time weird list! That’s seriously quite an honor, because it’ll probably get brought up in conversation at least a few times a year. Anyway, let’s go!

I don’t believe a single film I watched over this holiday weekend was in any way patriotic, but that did not make them any less enjoyable! Here we go with some high level recaps and my honest two cents.

This weekend’s movie selections really got me out of my comfort zone! I started off watching something from a director I admire and then got led down a path of really interesting choices. But I wasn’t mad about it! Let’s review!
