I am having a hard time believing it’s been three years since the first season of Beef graced my television screen, but I guess time really does fly sometimes! The second season in this anthology series couldn’t have presented a more different cast of characters, but we still get a dose of Korean action, as well as, you know, beef.

In preparation for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, I figured it’d be wise to be up to speed on all things Marvel. That means I “binge watched” all six episodes of Moon Knight since the finale aired this past week on Disney+. Now, did I know if this show would have any crossover with the latest film? No, but anything is possible.

Okay, look, this five-part miniseries really grew on me as it went on, but I had to agree with SNL’s take on it two and a half episodes in. They made a fake trailer and then had a critic’s quote at the end stating, “Who is this for??” and I found myself asking the exact same question.

Another Friday, another new Netflix movie. Not that I mind. Most are actually really well done, and Triple Frontier was no exception. It also didn’t hurt that it had five A-list stars in all shots of the film. Helmed by Kathryn Bigelow, who’s no stranger to war films (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), this movie was gritty, taking place mostly in the jungle of Columbia.
