Another year, another virtual Sundance Film Festival experience! I’m so thankful that this festival still finds benefits in offering a virtual component to this festival that I cannot attend in person. I hope it continues, but if I’m lucky, next year this festival might be A LOT closer to home. Fingers crossed!

The final push for the first of the year is here and I’m still doing a pretty mediocre job of it. Still, I made some time at the theaters this weekend, though I couldn’t bring myself to sit through The Brutalist yet.

I think as you’ve all come to know, there were a lot of movies in my life this year. 175 to be exact, though unlike other years, there were several repeat viewings this time around! I was also so lucky to take part in so many film festivals this year, both in person and virtually, and I hope the trend continues next year! Here are my favorite films of the year (and see the rest at the bottom!).
