I am trying, and failing, to squeeze in as much television as possible now that the end of the year is imminent. And while there are still a ton of shows I even just need to catch up on the most recent season, I couldn’t resist starting this short KBL when it popped up on iQiyi’s home page. I find it hard to dislike much about a show called My Secret Vampire.

Book Review: Guardian Vol. 2 by Priest
As I write this review for the second volume of Priest’s series, Guardian, I realize how long it’s actually been since I finished it. Which is a shame, because I would really like to start the third and final novel soon. Anyway, let’s see what I can remember of this book!

If I do recall, it did take me some time to get in the groove of the writing style of the Case File Compendium series. The same is the case for this new series, Guardian, though it’s by a completely different author in Preist. Though to be fair, this author has a pretty deep bibliography. Though the name Dead Boys Detectives has a super corny ring to it, that was exactly what brought my attention to this show.

I’ll be totally honest with you guys. I fully forgot about this show until a few weeks ago when Peacock had it popped up on the home screen with “new season” beside it. Though only a year and a half has passed between seasons of Wolf Like Me, I really had to wrack my brain to remember what happened.
