Dickinson Season 1 Review

Well, I got Apple + back in order to watch Sofia Coppola’s latest film, so I figured it’d be a good opportunity to a watch a couple more shows in their catalog. I wanted something somewhat comedic, and besides Ted Lasso, Dickinson was the next beset thing. I remember being intrigued by it when press first started for it, but Hailee Steinfeld wasn’t quite enough to sell me on it.

Workaholics Seasons 6 & 7

In an incredibly short amount of time I have managed to watch the entirety of Workaholics, and it was a fantastic ride. I don’t want to sound ungrateful for the time dedicated to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but I think I enjoyed Workaholics just a bit more. As I’m sure I’ve explained in a prior season’s review, these three dudes just seem more relatable. I attribute that to its office setting and their genuine friendship. Sure, the gang are friends, too, but these guys actually look out for each other. That’s the key difference. Workaholics Seasons 4 & 5

That’s right, I burned through two seasons of Workaholics so quickly that I just decided to write about them at the same time. Take what I can get, right?

Workaholics Season 3

I feel like I’ve grown to love Workaholics much sooner than I did for the last long-running comedy I watched, but I suppose it’s easier to relate to these guys because they are in their 20s and in an office setting. I mean….that’s probably all I can relate to because their personal lives are a tornado and that’s just not me, but their antics make for some amazing comedy. Most of the scenes that have me laughing the hardest are completely unexpected and it elicits a surprised burst of laughter from me. Kudos to them because I feel like that’s hard to do!
