Weekly Television Round-Up

Shadowhunters – I am seriously going to miss this show. Already three episodes into the last season, I am starting to get anxiety. Anyways…this episode was a nice build-up for what I assume will be a pretty sweet episode next Monday. A lot of work is being done to figure out how to get a rune off Clary’s neck, and the vampire that Simon turned is causing trouble in all vampire and wolf circles.

Miracle Workers – This week we find out that God is illiterate! Very, very funny episode. And now Rosie is on the team!

Roswell, New Mexico – Isobel uses her powers to have Kyle stab her with the serum Liz created last week, which in turn starts causing her cells to deteriorate. Liz and Michael end up finding out that their pods can keep her in stasis until they figure out a cure. Alex, wanting to learn more about his fathers work and the aliens, knocks his father unconscious and learns that Michael is one of the main targets of his father’s research. Max spent much of the episode distraught over his twin’s health, but being a twin myself, I get that.

Superstore – An episode dedicated to all Cloud 9 stores in a competition to get the most steps. Winner gets to meet with the president of Cloud 9, so Amy, Jonah, and Dina make tell some lies to motivate the team. Hilarity ensues.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine – Charles’ adopted son Nikolaj meets his real father, played by always hysterical Ike Barinholtz, and Jake tries to intervene. Meanwhile, Captain Holt and Amy get involved in a murder Rosa and Terry are trying to solve by inviting a scientist who’s “proven” that his special flies are attracted to blood and can help at crime scenes.

Will & Grace – Will’s mom and Grace’s dad, now married, visit for dinner when Grace’s dad has a heart attack. He needs a blood transfusion, but won’t accept Will’s blood because he is gay. On the other end of the episode, Karen is paying for Jack’s play and wedding, so Jack can’t make any decisions for things he wants…look out for hilarious scenes involving a unicorn. I can say no more.
