Alright, so I didn’t watch the latest season of Cobra Kai when it dropped on Netflix this past Friday, but you bet I binged it all in two days time.

Fan Art Friday: Wallows
Look, I had every intention of getting this drawing done before I saw Wallows perform back in May, but here we are in the middle of September. Oh, well! At least it’s done before I get to see them again next month at Austin City Limits!

Aside from watching their performances on late night shows from Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers, I hadn’t really done any other digging into their music, but knew I wanted to. Nothing like an upcoming show to get me moving.

My friend warned me that this book, Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter, was intense, but I think what she meant was disturbing. I’ve consumed a lot of media over the course of my life, whether it be print or onscreen, so I’d consider myself somewhat desensitized, but this book was kind of on a whole other level.
