If you’ve ever read anything on this blog, you will know that I was a big, big fan of the Roswell, New Mexico reboot, and a large part of that was because of who they cast as Michael, Michael Vlamis. No, I had never heard of this kid before watching the show, and no, he hasn’t really been in much, but I believe with his acting chops and those curls that he’ll go far in life regardless if Roswell does, too. Prodigal Son: Skimming the Surface of Potential Greatness

As I get further and further into Prodigal Son, I can’t find myself really getting into it too much.  The most distracting quality of the show is the weekly procedural case.  They are just too quick.  I would have really liked to have seen them expand on the copycat killer from the first episode, but based on the preview for next week it looks like they are going to address a different copycat…odd.

ACLU Event with Ike Barinholtz & Busy Philipps

When celebrities are going to be at a free event basically in your backyard on a Thursday, you have to go! And that’s what I did! The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sponsored this Likover Lecture to shed light on two areas: abortion and voting rights. So naturally, they tapped two celebrities who are very passionate about these topics: Ike Barinholtz and Busy Philipps!

I’ve been slacking on the fan art posts! And yes, I know today is Saturday, but I’m trying to make up for it! So here we go.
