Similar to last week, I have never seen what Charlie Hunnam is most known for, Sons of Anarchy. I am however, a big fan of a lot of his other projects. Top tier includes The Gentlemen and Triple Frontier. Either way, he’s at Steel City Con next weekend, and so am I, so you know I’m getting a new drawing signed!

Fan Art Friday: Elijah Wood
The holiday has me all turned around, so for that reason you are getting a fan Art Friday post today. On Saturday. Anyways, similar to Daniel Radcliffe, Elijah Wood is another actor whose work I enjoy more outside of his well known franchise. (Also, I’ve never seen Lord of the Rings). I’m a big fan of Come to Daddy and I get the chance in a couple of weeks to potentially meet Elijah in person! Thus, a drawing to celebrate the opportunity!

What a blast this weekend was! After screwing myself out of attending December’s show, I was eager to get back to Monroeville to attend Steel City Con. There were a ton of great guests this time around and I definitely made the most of it.

It’s honestly a shock to me that I haven’t drawn Heroes‘ related actors more often. I sincerely doubt there will ever be another show to top it, or tie it (besides Hannibal, of course) in my lifetime. Yes, there’s plenty of amazing television out there right now and series I’ve never seen, but Heroes apparently aired during the most perfect time of my life. Now, something magical should be happening in April, and that thing is getting the opportunity to meet Hayden Panettiere at a local comic con convention. When I tell you that my soul almost left my body when I found that out, I mean it. I’m sure tears of excitement came to my eyes, as well. Now, just a couple more months before I have to control myself in her presence – I can do it! In the meantime, enjoy my latest drawing that I will surely have her sign (among other things).

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to a convention, and since the first one I ever attended was Steel City Con in December of 2019, it only makes sense that my first one back was Steel City Con again! As eager as I’ve been to get back to everything, it’s clear a lot of other people are, too. The convention center was packed and the mood was euphoric, and that made it a really fun day for me.

This past Saturday was my second experience at a Comic Con! This time it was Wizard World hosted in Cleveland, and it was just as fun as my time at Steel City Con this past December.

People of earth! I went to my first comic con over the weekend, and I’ve got to say that I had a blast! Now, I eased myself into it by going to a local one and I only attended one of the three days, but I think I got quite a lot out of it.
