A Discovery of Witches – Season 1
I first heard about A Discovery of Witches, based on Deborah Harkness’ All Souls trilogy, back in 2018 just before it was about to come out. Unfortunately, it wasn’t going to be available on anything I was already paying for, so I vowed to watch it some day in the future. Well, enough of the future has passed that the second season has already came and went, so I decided it was time to make it happen! That, and a friend of mine declared how much she liked it.

Now, just because it took me a while to finish it does not mean Paradisa, by Michelle Iannantuono was at all bad. In fact, it was pretty awesome! I was just extremely busy in my personal life and had a tough time squeezing in moments to read this fantasy novel.

Well, just like most other events in the world, this year’s first and only Shadowhunters convention got pushed until next year. In an effort to please the fans though, Jalmics, the organizer of the event, roped together an At Home convention for this past weekend! I will say, despite the event not taking place in person, this experience was pretty sweet! As an avid fan of the show, I was particularly pumped about it.

Despite it being better than the first, it still took me a good while to finish, and I’m not particularly looking forward to reading the last installment. But I’m going to finish it because I feel like I have to if I want to watch the show.
