I think as you’ve all come to know, there were a lot of movies in my life this year. 175 to be exact, though unlike other years, there were several repeat viewings this time around! I was also so lucky to take part in so many film festivals this year, both in person and virtually, and I hope the trend continues next year! Marry My Dead Body has been one of the most delightful movie finds for me this year, so imagine my pure joy in learning that a series based off those characters was in the works! The internet didn’t give me much to go off of, only the name of the series, GG Precinct, and that it was indeed headed to Netflix. Only after seeing Gingle Wang at TIFF did I decide to look again and it had already dropped a couple of weeks prior!

A longtime goal is finally coming true this weekend: I am going to New York Comic Con! I know it’s not San Diego, but this is the next best thing! When I saw that Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy were bringing the Hannibal reunion to the Javits Center, I knew I had to go. I had already missed out on so many other chances to see them together this year that I knew this was a now or never situation. Even luckier? After I get their autographs, I get to sit in on the panel, as well! I was so nervous reserved spots would be gone by the time I got through, but I made it! be prepared for more when I get back, but I can’t wait to get this thing signed.
